Vice-President People & Organization Development

Steve is the Vice-President People & Organization Development at IWK Health, the Maritime region's leading health care and research centre dedicated to the well-being of women, gender diverse populations, children, youth & families.   Prior to the IWK, Steve held senior HR leadership roles with Bell Aliant and was a partner with a leading executive search firm. He earned his BSc (Hon) in Psychology and MBA from Dalhousie University, and completed Harvard University's program on Leading Change and Organizational Renewal.   Steve currently serves the Boards of WCB Nova Scotia and the NS Health Employees’ Pension Plan, as was a founding co-chair of the national Health Human Resources Advisory Council with HealthCareCAN. He is firmly committed to health system transformation on the foundations of a talented, healthy and engaged workforce.
