Melanie Bower

A passionate advocate for employee health and wellness, Melanie holds a Bachelor of Science in Health Education from Dalhousie University and a Master of Education from Mount Saint Vincent University. She is also a Certified Coach Practitioner.

With over 25 years of experience as a Health and Wellness Specialist, Melanie has worked across all sectors, including not-for-profit organizations, the Canadian Armed Forces, Halifax Regional Police, Halifax Regional Municipality, Irving Oil, and Horizon Health. Recently, she launched FLOURISH, a wellness company dedicated to providing workplaces with practical, engaging seminars, workshops, and training programs aimed at enhancing employee well-being.

Known for her authentic, no-nonsense facilitation style, Melanie believes employees are experts in their own lives and learning, empowering them to take charge of their health and wellness.

Outside of work, Melanie enjoys hiking, growing fresh vegetables, baking, reading, home renovations, and spending time with her granddaughter.
