Liana O’Brien

 Liana is a Vice President and National Leader with HUB International Benefits Consulting team. With over 25 years of experience in the benefits consulting industry, she combines deep expertise with genuine enthusiasm for helping organizations thrive.

She works closely with some of HUB’s largest Atlantic Canadian clients, partnering with public and private sector organizations, union and non-union groups, trusts, management teams, and benefits committees. Liana takes pride in helping employers design Group Benefits plans that not only meet employee needs but also support broader organizational goals.

In addition to client work, Liana actively contributes to HUB’s national team, sharing insights and strategies to enhance the firm’s solutions across Canada.

She holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from St Mary’s University, a Certificate in Diversity and Inclusion from Cornell University, and is a Certified Employee Benefit Specialist (CEBS). Known for her collaborative approach and dedication, Liana is committed to making benefits consulting both strategic and approachable for every client.
