Amreeta Wadhwa

A dynamic and results-driven Chartered Professional in Human Resources (CPHR), Amreeta brings over  12 years of comprehensive HR leadership across the tech, manufacturing, and distribution sectors. As a  HR executive, she specializes in designing and executing people strategies that foster strong  organizational culture, drive business outcomes, and elevate the employee experience. Currently serving as the Director of People and Culture (P&C) at Greenlight Innovation, she partners  with executive leadership to align talent management initiatives with corporate strategy, champion  employee engagement, and lead a high-performing P&C team. Her background includes spearheading  full-cycle P&C functions, developing robust retention strategies, managing large-scale recruitment  operations, and ensuring compliance through thoughtful policy development. Known for her ability to bridge strategic planning with empathetic leadership, she has a proven record  of coaching leaders, solving complex workforce challenges, and implementing scalable HR technology  solutions across multiple platforms including SAP, ADP, Taleo, Ceridian, Sage, and Rise. She holds a  Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) in HR from Kwantlen Polytechnic University, a Project  Management Associate Certification from BCIT, and most recently, a Graduate Certificate in Executive  Coaching from Royal Roads University. In addition to the CPHR community, she is also a SHRM certified and an active member of the HR professional community as  a panel  at last year’s TAP Tech Talent North, as well as other events hosted by SFU’s HR Student Association.
